Fuel prices in Türkiye are on a continuous upward trend, with recent increases affecting diesel, gasoline and now LPG. As of midnight, LPG prices saw an increase of ₺1.76.

These price hikes are influenced by fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices and exchange rates. On June 25, gasoline rose by ₺2 per liter and diesel by ₺1.7. According to industry sources, LPG prices increased by ₺1.76 on Monday night.

Nearly ₺2 increase for LPG

Effective from midnight between Monday and Tuesday, LPG prices increased by ₺1.76.

Excise tax hike expected on July 3

Another increase in fuel prices is anticipated on July 3. The Producer Price Index (PPI) increase for January to May 2024 was 17.87%. Alongside the June PPI data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), the specific excise tax increase rate for gasoline, diesel, and LPG will be determined.

Fuel prices in Türkiye are calculated based on average processed product prices in the Mediterranean market, including Türkiye, and fluctuate with changes in the dollar exchange rate. Prices may vary slightly based on product type, competitive factors, and regional differences set by distribution companies.
