Türkiye secured the top spot in Europe for agricultural revenue in 2023, reaching $68.5 billion, as announced by the country’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry on Monday.

Türkiye emerged as the leading country in Europe and was listed among the top 10 globally for agricultural revenue in the previous year, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli reported.

Türkiye’s agricultural revenues experienced a significant 16% increase compared to the previous year, Yumakli noted referencing statistics from the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Bank.

Yumakli extended his sincere congratulations to all stakeholders in the sector who played a role in achieving this remarkable success.
