Türkiye’s Central Securities Depository (MKK) has released the latest data on investor and account figures for Borsa Istanbul, indicating that the total value of stock portfolios increased from ₺12.2 trillion ($355.2 billion) to ₺12.49 trillion ($361 billion), reflecting a 1.5% rise.

As of Saturday, Nov. 9, the number of equity investors stood at 6.9 million, down slightly from 7.02 million the previous week.

The total number of registered accounts at MKK rose from 84.88 million to 84.99 million, with the overall investor count also edging up slightly, from 35.86 million to 35.89 million.

However, the number of active accounts with balances dropped from 15.24 million to 15.22 million, and the count of active investors declined from 10.7 million to 10.69 million.

In contrast, the number of mutual fund investors grew modestly, from 5.41 million to 5.42 million over the same period.
