AJet announces direct flights between Istanbul and Moscow
AJet stated that it will begin direct flights between Istanbul and Moscow by Jan. 23, 2025, starting at $99, with daily round-trip flights scheduled.
In a statement on Jan. 20, the company announced that it will connect Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Moscow Vnukovo Airport directly. It previously operated flights from Istanbul to Moscow with a layover in Ankara.
The new route is expected to significantly contribute to AJet’s growing international network while offering passengers competitive travel options, the statement read.
Since its inaugural flight on March 31, 2024, AJet has added 12 new international routes. For the new year, the airline launched its first route between Istanbul and Algiers. With daily flights on the Istanbul-Moscow route, AJet aims to strengthen its global presence.
