Aselsan signs $30.7M export contract for defense systems
Turkish defense company Aselsan has signed an export contract worth $30.7 million for advanced defense systems, according to a statement released to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
The deal involves the supply of friend-or-foe identification systems, electro-optical technologies, remote-controlled stabilized weapon systems, and communication technologies for end-use by an undisclosed international customer.
Details of the contract
Aselsan, a leading Turkish defense manufacturer, highlighted the significance of the agreement in its KAP announcement.
The statement read: “Aselsan has signed sales contracts with a total amount of USD 30,668,376 regarding the export of friend or foe recognition, electro-optical, remote-controlled stabilized weapon and communication system payloads for the end use of its international customers.”
