Ford showcases new electric Puma, developed by Turkish engineers
Ford introduced its best-selling model in Europe, the electric Puma, developed by Turkish engineers at Ford Otosan’s Romanian plant.
Produced at Ford Otosan’s state-of-the-art assembly facility in Craiova, Romania, and equipped with the electric motors company’s plant in Halewood, England, the Puma Gen-E stands out as one of the most efficient vehicles in its class with an energy consumption rate of 13.1 kWh per 100 kilometers.
The car offers a range of up to 376 kilometers (233.6 miles) on a full charge for long journeys, which can extend to 520 kilometers in urban traffic.
The battery charges from 10% to 80% in just 23 minutes when connected to a fast charger, and the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 8 seconds.
Ford released the new Puma Gen-E Select on the market with a price of £29,995 ($38.008) in the U.K.
