Taste Atlas unveils Türkiye’s presence in World’s top desserts list

Taste Atlas reveals its global top 100 desserts list, showcasing seven tantalizing treats from Türkiye

Taste Atlas, a renowned culinary platform celebrated for spotlighting traditional recipes, recently unveiled its list of the world’s top 100 desserts, featuring seven delectable treats from Türkiye.

Combining the insights of food critics and extensive culinary research, TasteAtlas meticulously curated the rankings of the finest desserts worldwide.

Among Türkiye’s culinary gems, Maras ice cream secured 9th position, while Antep baklava claimed 17th rank.

The beloved pistachio roll, pistachio wrap, earned the 23rd rank.

Baklava, a quintessential Turkish delight, was honored at the 29th place. 

At the 46th spot, followed closely behind was semolina halva, a delightful semolina-based dessert. 

Caramel Custard, a creamy caramelized milk pudding, earned the 51st position.

On the other hand, a baked rice pudding was placed 52nd.

This recognition not only underscored Türkiye’s rich culinary heritage but also highlights the global appeal of its traditional desserts.
