Turkish national basketball player Alperen Sengun put on a standout performance, leading the Houston Rockets to a dominant 114-101 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

Sengun finished the game with 45 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, five steals and one block.

Sengun notched a career-high in points and steals while etching his name in NBA history by setting a new record for most points scored by a Turkish player in the NBA, recording an impressive 45 points. The previous record belonged to Mehmet Okur, who had 43 points.

He also became the league’s youngest player to record a 45-point, 15-rebound, five-steal performance.

Additionally, Sengun set a new franchise record for points scored by a Houston Rockets center since Yao Ming.
