The total fiscal liabilities of Türkiye’s “Big Four” football clubs—Besiktas, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor—reached ₺47.9 billion ($1.3 billion) as of Aug. 31, according to balance sheets disclosed on the Turkish public disclosure platform (KAP).
Galatasaray takes the lead in debts
According to the balance sheets, Besiktas’ fiscal liabilities amount to ₺10.4 billion. The club reported a deficit of ₺153 million.
Among the Big Four, Galatasaray topped the fiscal debts of 14.2 billion, even though this amount decreased by ₺122.9 million in profit during one year.
Fenerbahce indicated its liabilities at ₺13 billion, with ₺616.2 million profit which is the top among the four clubs.
Trabzonspor recorded the highest fiscal deficit of ₺321.5 million during the period, as total debts reached ₺10.3 billion.
