Hamas has denied reports circulating in the Israeli media that its leaders residing in Qatar have relocated to Türkiye.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Palestinian group dismissed the claims as baseless.

We deny what some Hebrew media outlets reported about the departure of Hamas leaders from Qatar to Türkiye, and confirmed that this news is just rumors that the occupation tries to promote from time to time.

Turkish Foreign Ministry sources also deny claims

Sources from Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs have also denied the reports, clarifying that the Hamas Political Bureau has not been relocated to Türkiye.

The statement followed earlier rumors suggesting that the group’s leadership had moved its base from Qatar.

“Members of the Hamas Political Bureau visit Türkiye from time to time.

The allegations that the Hamas Political Bureau has moved to Türkiye do not reflect the truth,” Foreign Ministry sources stated.

Türkiye Today’s report on Nov. 14, quoting Turkish security sources, highlighted that there had been no request or consideration for Hamas to move its headquarters to Türkiye.
