Israel continues attacks on Gaza on first day of Ramadan

Israeli attacks on the first day of Ramadan resulted in a tragic loss of lives and widespread destruction of homes in Gaza and the West Bank, leaving numerous Palestinians dead

On the first day of Ramadan, the Israeli army launched air, land, and sea attacks on many areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of many Palestinians.

Israeli forces continue their attacks on Gaza, causing a humanitarian catastrophe by forcibly leaving people hungry and thirsty on the 157th day.

According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Israeli army conducted intense attacks throughout the night, primarily targeting areas such as Han Yunus in the southern Gaza Strip and the Zeytun neighborhood in Gaza City.

A house in the eastern part of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, was targeted, resulting in casualties and injuries.

Israeli artillery targeted the eastern part of Khan Younis, while warplanes bombed many houses in the Es-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza. The attacks resulted in the deaths and injuries of many, mostly women and children.

Israeli forces bombed agricultural land near the Egyptian border in the Selam neighborhood of Rafah.

Warplanes targeted the western part of Gaza City, as well as the Nusayrat Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip, and a few houses on the coast in Han Yunus and Gaza’s central region, resulting in deaths and injuries.

Meanwhile, health teams recovered the lifeless bodies of 10 people, including women and children, from the rubble of the Palestinian “Ashour” family’s house targeted in the Tel el-Heva neighborhood of Gaza, and the bodies were transferred to Shifa Hospital.

West Bank attacks also continue

Israeli army also conducted raids on the occupied West Bank city of Tulkarem, as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, destroying infrastructure.

According to WAFA, Israeli forces conducted raids on Tulkarem city from the south and west with more than 25 military vehicles and four military bulldozers, deploying to streets around the Tulkarem Refugee Camp.

Israeli forces damaged the infrastructure of the city center and even dug up a street near the l-Alimi Junction.
