German drug dealer apprehended in Istanbul
Daniel Sobotta, sought internationally for drug trafficking, was arrested in Istanbul, according to an announcement from Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. Sobotta was apprehended following an international diffusion message issued for his arrest.
In a statement made on his social media account, Yerlikaya stated that with international cooperation, coordination of security forces, determination and decisive stance, they caught the people wanted with red diffusion messages one by one.
Sobotta, who was wanted internationally for drug trafficking with the diffusion message issued by Germany, was captured with the “KUYU-39” operation organized in Istanbul, Yerlikaya said.
As a result of the joint work carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Security Anti-Narcotic Crimes and Immigrant Smuggling and Border Gates Branch Directorates in coordination with the Interpol-Europol Department and the Directorate of Migration Management, Daniel Sobotta, who was found to have made a large amount of profit by selling various drugs by communicating with other individuals through a communication application with his encrypted mobile phone, was caught in Şişli district of Istanbul.
