‘It is not over yet,’ Tyson says after losing to Paul
In a highly anticipated boxing showdown, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul beat former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson by unanimous decision on Friday night.
The fight took place at AT&T Stadium in Texas, U.S., and was attended by a crowd of 72,300 fans. Paul controlled most of the bout, with judges scoring the fight 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73 in his favor.
This victory brings Paul’s professional record to 11-1, with seven knockouts, and makes him only the sixth fighter in history to defeat Tyson, a Hall of Famer and boxing icon.
On the other hand, Tyson stated, “This wasn’t my last fight,” while Logan Paul, Jake Paul’s brother, expressed interest in facing Tyson in a future bout.
Reportedly, Paul is set to earn $40 million for the fight, and Tyson is to receive half of that amount.
