President Recep Tayyip Erdogan praised Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahceli for his call for terrorist organization PKK ringleader Abdullah Ocalan to address Parliament regarding the Kurdish question, calling it a “brave move” and thanking him for this historic opportunity.

Erdogan also appreciated the main opposition leader Ozgur Ozel for fostering a spirit of unity in the country.

“The state belongs to all citizens,” President Erdogan emphasized, underscoring the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party)’s 22-year dedication to combating all forms of discrimination.

Furthermore, Erdogan noted that advancements in Türkiye’s defense industry are essential for the country’s success in the fight against terrorism.

President Erdogan calls for unity between Turks, Kurds

President Erdogan stated, “Turks and Kurds should love each other,” underscoring this principle as both a religious and political obligation. In his recent address, he called for a national embrace, urging Kurds to refrain from engaging with provocations from those who serve imperialism and Zionism.

Erdogan emphasized the critical importance of solidarity in the fight against terrorism, asserting that collaboration among all citizens is essential for achieving lasting peace and stability in Türkiye.
