Arca, a defense firm based in Corum, Türkiye, secured a $2 billion export deal at the SAHA EXPO 2024 in Istanbul.

The agreement, signed with Slovakia’s MSM Group, is set to make Arca one of the largest producers of artillery ammunition in the world.

The company’s monthly production exceeds that of the entire Americas according to the reports.

Leading ammunition production capacity in Europe

Arca produces a wide range of artillery and mortar ammunition, including 60 mm, 81 mm and 120 mm mortar rounds, as well as 122 mm, 152 mm and 155 mm high-explosive artillery shells.

The company operates from its facility in the Corum Sungurlu Organized Industrial Zone, where it also established Türkiye’s first C4 explosives factory. Arca now boasts one of the largest ammunition production capacities in Europe.

Export focus, international expansion

The company has focused heavily on exports, with clients across Europe and North America. Its current markets include the United States, the Netherlands, the U.K., Slovakia and more.

The recent deal with MSM Group further strengthens its position in the global defense market.
