Three journalists killed in Israeli airstrike near Beirut

Three journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a hotel in southern Beirut, where they were staying on early Friday, according to Lebanon’s official news agency, NNA.
The airstrike took place in Hasbiya, a town south of the Lebanese capital, late Thursday night. NNA reported that Israeli warplanes struck the area at approximately 3:30 a.m. local time. The journalists’ deaths were confirmed, though the agency did not provide further details about their identities or affiliations.
Lebanon’s National News Agency also reported that the airstrike occurred near the Lebanese-Syrian border in the Zahle region, though the exact location and intent of the strike remain unclear.
