The death toll from Israeli military strikes on Lebanon has risen by 28, bringing the total to 2,574, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

In a written statement, the ministry confirmed that Israeli forces continue to carry out airstrikes across various parts of the country.

The statement noted that 28 people were killed and 139 others injured in the latest round of attacks. Since Oct. 8, 2023, the number of people killed in Israeli assaults on Lebanon has reached 2,574, while 12,001 have been wounded.

Hundreds of thousands of people are estimated to have been displaced due to the ongoing bombardment.

As migration from southern regions to the capital, Beirut, and northern areas continues, the Lebanese government has announced that more than 486,000 displaced individuals have fled to Syria.
