Nationalist minority party leader blasts gov’t for peace process with PKK terror group
Musavvat Dervisoglu, leader of the nationalist Iyi Party, Wednesday expressed concerns over the new solution process, suggesting that the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) is endangering the integrity and independence of the state.
He further questioned the government’s legitimacy and criticized the People’s Alliance’s move on the solution process, calling the main opposition’s support deeply troubling.
Dervisoglu also described the idea of allowing PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan to speak in Parliament as a highly concerning development.
