European Political Community meeting to be held at Blenheim Palace in the UK

European Political Community meeting in July 2024 at Blenheim Palace, UK, to gather approximately 50 European leaders, including Türkiye, to discuss regional challenges and cooperation

The European Political Community meeting is set to take place at Blenheim Palace in the UK, the birthplace of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill, in July 2024.

According to a statement from the UK Prime Minister’s Office at 10 Downing Street, approximately 50 leaders from Europe will gather in London in July for the meeting, including Türkiye. Countries like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine will also attend.

Hosted by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the meeting will see European leaders engage in discussions on key issues.

The statement also shared that the meeting, which will address issues of concern to the entire region such as irregular migration, will be held at Blenheim Palace, the ancestral home where Churchill was born.

In the statement, Prime Minister Sunak stated, “The European Political Community is an important forum for cooperation across Europe on issues that affect all of us, threaten our security and prosperity. This meeting under UK leadership will bring together our European friends, partners, and neighbors to address our common challenges, from providing full support to Ukraine to halting the scourge of human trafficking and illegal migration.”

The UK will host the 4th meeting of the European Political Community, with previous meetings held in Spain, Czechia, and Moldova.
