Israeli-based Channel 12 television reports that Iran attempted an assassination of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A senior Israeli government official stated, “Iran tried to eliminate the Prime Minister of Israel.”

Additionally, it was reported that a Hezbollah drone indeed targeted Netanyahu’s weekend residence this morning.

The Israeli military reported that three drones entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon, with two intercepted and destroyed. However, one drone hit a structure in Caesarea, and no injuries were reported.
