President Erdogan highlights Karabuk’s achievements at AK Party rally
President Erdogan discusses Karabuk’s progress in infrastructure, industry, and health care, outlining future plans at AK Party rally
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chairman of the AK Party, attended a rally organized by his party on Albay Karaoglanoglu Street in Karabuk. Erdogan greeted the citizens gathered there.
During the rally, Erdogan highlighted the significant achievements in Karabuk, including the granting of TL 1.1 billion ($34.39 million) in premium incentives to workers. The Eskipazar industrial zone has undergone renovations, and preliminary allocations have been made for further development.
Ongoing infrastructure projects aim to create 6,000 new jobs, while the expansion of the Karabuk industrial zone by an additional 226 hectares is expected to provide employment for 5,000 more people.
Erdogan also emphasized the transformation of the Kardemir factory into one of the largest iron and steel facilities, attributing this success to continuous growth. He also highlighted the provision of natural gas supply to Eskipazar, Safranbolu, and Yenice districts for energy needs. Additionally, plans for the construction of a new courthouse, set to begin soon, were announced.
$94 billion investment made
Recent investments totaling $94 million have been directed towards various projects in Karabuk. The development of divided highways has reached a milestone of 116 kilometers (72.08 miles), enhancing transportation infrastructure. Furthermore, 16 new health facilities have been established, contributing to improved health care services in the region.
The university in Karabuk has increased its capacity and facilities, providing more opportunities for sports and education. This includes the establishment of libraries, laboratories, and numerous sports facilities. Erdogan also mentioned the construction and renovation of various public facilities such as sports centers, youth centers, culture and art centers, and TOKI buildings.
Preservation efforts for historical artifacts, particularly in Safranbolu, were highlighted, along with ongoing restoration projects. The construction of dams, ponds, water treatment facilities, and irrigation facilities has been instrumental in supporting agricultural development and providing farmers with essential resources.
Erdogan assured that, following the elections, the presidential team will continue to contribute more to local governments. Finally, Erdogan introduced all the AK Party mayoral candidates for the districts, emphasizing unity and progress for Karabuk’s future.
