Türkiye slams Israeli FM Katz’s provocative social media post

Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a strong response to Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz‘s recent social media post, stating, “We expect the Israeli Foreign Minister to defend himself before justice for his role in the genocide against Palestinians.”
In a written statement, the ministry condemned Katz’s comments targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Türkiye, labeling them as slanderous.
Türkiye labels the post ‘unsuccessful psychological operation’
The ministry described Katz’s post as an unsuccessful psychological operation intended to divert attention and shift the narrative.
The statement included the following remarks: “We are waiting for the Israeli Foreign Minister’s defense before justice for his role in the genocide of Palestinians. Türkiye will continue to stand against Israel’s oppressive policies and provide the strongest support to the Palestinians.”
