Kyrgyzstan honors Turkish defense giant Baykar’s CEO Bayraktar with state award

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov Wednesday has awarded the “Kyrgyzstan Dank State Award” to Selcuk Bayraktar, Chairman of Baykar Technology.
According to a statement from the Kyrgyz Presidential Office, Japarov welcomed Bayraktar at the Presidential Palace during his visit to Bishkek.
During their meeting, Japarov underscored the significance of collaborating with advanced international firms, such as Baykar Technology.
He highlighted that these partnerships are essential for bolstering the country’s defense capabilities, advancing national military-industrial systems and enhancing regional security.
Baykar ready for cooperation with Kyrgyzstan
Bayraktar conveyed Baykar Technology’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the importance of leveraging modern technologies for border security and developing effective deterrents against potential threats.
In acknowledgment of Bayraktar’s substantial contributions to strengthening Kyrgyzstan’s defense capabilities and military potential, Japarov awarded him the “Kyrgyzstan Dank State Award.”
Bayraktar also gifted Japarov a model of the Akinci unmanned aerial vehicle, featuring depictions of key moments from Kyrgyzstan’s Epic of Manas on its wings.
