Türkiye’s 8th humanitarian aid ship reaches El-Arish port for Gazans

Türkiye’s humanitarian aid ship, carrying supplies for Palestinians, welcomed at El-Arish port by AFAD President Okay Memis, continuing to extend hope and compassion worldwide

According to the statement from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Türkiye’s humanitarian aid ship carrying humanitarian aid supplies for the Palestinian people was welcomed at the El-Arish port by AFAD President Okay Memis and the team working in the field.

The materials on the 8th humanitarian aid ship sent from Türkiye will be delivered to Gazans via aid trucks from the Rafah border crossing.

So far, Türkiye has sent 13 cargo planes and 8 ships carrying humanitarian aid materials to be delivered to Gaza.

“We continue to extend the compassionate and merciful hand of our nation to all corners of the world, remaining the hope of the oppressed and persecuted. We are in our country for our people, and beyond our borders for humanity,” said AFAD in a statement.

More than 32,000 Palestinians died in Israeli attacks that started on Oct. 7.
