Israeli media confirms that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is dead following a wave of airstrikes targeting Hezbollah’s headquarters in southern Beirut.

Senior Israeli official indicates that there are positive signs the operation to assassinate Nasrallah has succeeded, according to Israeli media outlet Channel 12.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah states that all claims regarding the Israeli attack on the southern suburb are “baseless”

On Friday evening, the Israeli army announced that it carried out an airstrike on what it claims is the main headquarters of Hezbollah in the Dahiye region south of Beirut. Israeli media also confirmed that Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah was targeted in the bombardment.
