TAI General Manager Mehmet Demiroglu had previously hinted at these developments.

However, the originally stated delivery date of 2026 has now been officially moved to 2027.

The progress of the project is expected to continue as planned, particularly if there are no issues with engine supply from the United States.

The aircraft is regarded as a crucial step in line with Türkiye’s goals to enhance its domestic and national air power.
