The globally renowned Forbes magazine has featured 263 people on the list of world billionaires including Sulcuk Bayraktar and Haluk Bayraktar

The globally renowned Forbes magazine has featured 263 people on its list of dollar billionaires, including the CEOs of Baykar Technology, Sulcuk Bayraktar and Haluk Bayraktar.

Forbes magazine has updated its list, showing the increase in billionaires’ wealth worldwide.

Based on the December 2023 data, 263 new names from the software, technology and manufacturing sectors have been added to the list published annually. These individuals, collectively worth $510 billion or an average of $1.9 billion, hail from 32 countries. Forbes magazine has published its 38th edition this year.

According to the list, billionaires’ wealth has increased by $2 trillion, reaching $14.2 trillion. The total wealth of Turkish billionaires has been estimated at approximately $56.1 billion.

Bernard Arnault, CEO of luxury goods giant LVMH, is the world’s richest person, with a wealth of $233 billion.

The wealth of Arnault, whose company owns brands like Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, Christian Dior, and Sephora, increased by $22 billion compared to last year. The wealthiest person among American billionaires, with an estimated $9.1 billion, and the founder of the fast-food chain Raising Cane’s, Todd Graves, has taken the top spot on the list.

China’s wealthiest individuals are Maggie Gu, Molly Miao, and Ren Xiaoqing, founders of the fashion giant Shein.

They each have an estimated net worth of $4.2 billion. The wealthiest newcomer on the list is Italian Andrea Pignataro, the CEO of Ion Trading.

27 names from Türkiye

Murat Ulker, a Board Member of Yıldız Holding, was listed as Türkiye’s wealthiest, ranked 597th, with a wealth of $5.1 billion.

He is followed by Cemil Kazanci, Chairperson of Kazanci Holding, with a wealth of $3.5 billion.

Ipek Kirac, a Board Member of Koc Holding, has a wealth of $3.1 billion; Semahat Arsel, a Board Member of Koc Holding, has a wealth.

Selcuk Bayraktar enters Forbes list for first time

Bayraktar, the 44-year-old entrepreneur, became Türkiye’s 24th and the world’s 2410th wealthiest individual with a fortune of $1.2 billion.

Selcuk Bayraktar was also Türkiye’s top taxpayer in 2022.

Haluk Bayraktar, on the other hand, is Türkiye’s 27th richest individual and the world’s 2545th wealthiest individual, with a fortune of $1.1 billion.
