Azerbaijani army showcases Roketsan TRLG-230 missile in Karabakh operations
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense recently released new footage to mark the anniversary of last year’s anti-terror operation in Karabakh.
This video prominently features the TRLG-230 missile, a key product of the Turkish defense industry.
The documentary showcases dramatic moments where the Roketsan-made TRLG-230 hits its target with remarkable precision.
Interestingly, the footage of the strike comes from the Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2023 Exercise, underscoring the missile’s reliability in real-world conditions.
The TRLG-230 effectively destroyed its target during this exercise, demonstrating its combat capabilities.
Additionally, the use of Bayraktar TB2 drones for target acquisition highlighted how well-integrated Turkish defense technologies can enhance operational effectiveness.
TRLG-230 missile’s key features:
- Weight: 210 kilogram
- Range: 20 – 70 kilometers
- Warhead Type: High Explosive + Steel Balls
- Warhead Weight: 42 kilograms
- Effective Radius: ≥ 55 meters
- Accuracy (CEP): ≤ 2 meters
These specifications indicate the TRLG-230’s ability to engage a variety of targets, including artillery and air defense systems, radar sites, troop concentrations, logistics facilities, and command-and-control centers.
The Azerbaijani army’s deployment of the TRLG-230 not only highlights the strengthening of defense ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan but also the growing significance of Turkish defense products on the international stage.
