ASELSAN highlights communication security after explosions in Lebanon

Dozens of people were killed, and thousands were injured in the pager explosions in Lebanon. Following the pager explosions in Lebanon, ASELSAN, the gigant of Türkiye’s defense industry, made a notable post, emphasizing the vulnerability of communication channels in the event of weak communication infrastructure.

ASELSAN shared images of its locally produced and national hand-held radio “ARTCOM 5433 V/UHF-P” following the Lebanon explosions, showing the importance of securing critical communication infrastructures like telecommunications.

The post stated, “We can provide the capabilities of smartphones without using a base station.”
