The GastroAntep Culture Route Festival, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, continues to captivate visitors on its fourth day.

The event, which kicked off on Sept. 14 at Festival Park, showcases a wide range of food and beverage stands. Locals and visitors from surrounding provinces flock to the festival, eager to sample the rich flavors that Gaziantep is known for.

Crowds gather in front of the bustling stands, where chefs prepare an array of mouth-watering dishes and drinks. The festival has become a hub for food enthusiasts, with many praising the vibrant atmosphere.

‘GastroAntep: A food lover’s paradise’

Mert Koca, one of the attendees, shared his thoughts on the event: “When you think of food, Gaziantep is the first place that comes to mind. This festival is absolutely amazing, especially in the evenings when it gets incredibly crowded.”

Regular festival-goer Sevgi Ercil emphasized the enjoyable nature of the festival: “It’s always a fantastic experience – lively and full of energy. Everyone can come and taste whatever they want. There are also concerts, and it’s a lot of fun, especially for children. I’m thankful to everyone involved in organizing this.”

A feast for all senses

Hatice Cakir, a vendor at the festival, highlighted the excitement of the event, noting that her stall features a variety of spices and homemade pepper pastes. “The festival is vibrant and fun. With all the kebabs being grilled, it’s definitely a smoky few days!” she said.

As one of Türkiye’s top gastronomic destinations, Gaziantep’s festival continues to attract thousands with its rich culinary heritage, promising even more exciting days ahead.
