The high-speed train (YHT), also known as the Yuksek Hizli Tren in Turkish, is Turkiye’s premier high-speed rail service operated by TCDD Tasimacilik. As of 2022, the network covers 1,385 km (860.6 mi) and connects major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Eskisehir, Izmit, Konya, and Sivas. Ongoing expansions aim to extend the network to include Edirne, Afyonkarahisar, Adana, and Izmir by the end of the 2020s.
