Türkiye’s National Intelligence Academy launches to shape global intelligence

Türkiye’s National Intelligence Academy, spearheaded by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT), commenced its activities with a lecture by MIT President Ibrahim Kalin.
Kalin stressed the importance of Türkiye’s role in shaping global intelligence theory and practice. He emphasized the Academy’s mission to develop unique concepts and frameworks for intelligence, blending theory with practical applications.
Kalin outlined the Academy’s goals: to combine theoretical and practical approaches, produce original concepts, and provide postgraduate education in intelligence, security, and strategy.
He noted the Academy’s commitment to training experts in key areas, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and space technologies.
Open to international students
The Academy, open to international students, will also offer specialized training for public institutions.
Kalin highlighted the need to address the gap in direct intelligence professionals in Türkiye and underscored the Academy’s role in fostering a globally engaged intelligence community.
