Türkiye’s Marlin USV enhances capabilities with new 8-tube launcher

Marlin USV, Türkiye’s unmanned surface vessel, has undergone significant development with the newly added 8-launcher. This feature makes Marlin USV one of the world’s few platforms with this capacity.

In previous tests, Marlin could only fire a single Kuzgun (Eng: Raven) missile. However, thanks to the new launcher, Marlin can fire 8 missiles at the same time. This development significantly increases Marlin’s capacity and effectiveness.
• Kuzgun missile system: Kuzgun missile system carried by the Marlin USV comprises a family of missiles developed by Tubitak Sage that can be fired from land, sea and air platforms. In particular, the Kuzgun KY model fired from Marlin USV offers a range of approximately 20 kilometers (12.4 miles), enabling the platform to serve as a strategic deterrent. The ability to fire eight missiles simultaneously is a distinct advantage that sets Marlin apart from other similar platforms.
