Ukrainian band Prime Orchestra performs in Antalya to support war victims
Ukrainian music group Prime Orchestra, known for holding concerts in various cities worldwide to help those affected by the war in their country, performed a spectacular show in Antalya.
The band took the stage at the Antalya Aktuel Open-Air Theater for their “Dance Sympho Show,” where they performed popular pop hits from the 1980s and 1990s.
The audience enjoyed renditions of iconic songs from artists like ABBA, Backstreet Boys, Ace of Base, Michael Jackson and Gloria Gaynor – directed by conductor Denis Doroshenko.
Vocalists Nikita Savenkov, Vika, Anna and Maria took center stage, delivering powerful performances.
As a special treat for Turkish fans, the group also performed Tarkan’s famous song “Simarik,” receiving resounding applause from the crowd.
The concert attracted a large number of music lovers, including the Ukrainian Consul, Oleksandr Voronin.
Prime Orchestra’s concert proceeds to aid Ukraine
Before the show, Denis Doroshenko expressed his happiness to be back in Antalya for a second time.
He shared the band’s history, explaining that Prime Orchestra was formed in 2014 and has performed across many European countries.
“After the war between Russia and Ukraine started, we set out on a new mission – to support Ukraine as much as we can and connect with displaced people through music. Since 2022, we’ve performed over 300 concerts,” Doroshenko said.
“The proceeds from our concerts go to helping those affected by the war, especially in areas that have been heavily bombed. Currently, we are raising funds for a mobile clinic to be used in regions where access is difficult,” he added.
He emphasized that their shows are not just about entertainment but also about sending a message of support and solidarity.
Doroshenko added they love Türkiye and plan to return more frequently for future concerts.
