Turkish forces capture 33 suspects linked to terrorist groups
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the capture of 33 suspects in the “Gurz-13” operations conducted across 12 provinces.
The operations targeted separatist terrorist organizations in Antalya, Batman, Gaziantep, Edirne, Elazig, Erzincan, Hakkari, Istanbul, Mersin, Mugla, Sanliurfa and Van.
The captured suspects were involved in various illegal activities, including propaganda for the terrorist organization, attempts to flee the country illegally, participating in unlawful protests, and conducting attacks with Molotov cocktails. Many also have outstanding prison sentences.
Numerous digital materials were seized during the operations, further aiding the investigation.
