Art lovers will be able to see the new exhibitions ‘Havaaya Dair’ and ‘So Let’s Go Back to the Beginning’ at Salt in Istanbul in May and June

The installation “Havaaya Dair” (About the Air), put up by the 2050+ design studio in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Center in Istanbul, will be open to visitors from May 8 to August 18 in the Forum area at Salt Beyoglu, according to a statement made by Salt.

The exhibition, which will accompany a screening of video-related artworks, aims to concretize elements of air pollution through materials and audio and visual experiments.

The “So Let’s Go Back to the Beginning” exhibition will open on May 23

Artist Itziar Barrio’s exhibition “So Let’s Go Back to the Beginning” will be on view at Salt Galata from May 23 to Sept. 29.

The exhibition will showcase the video-related artworks that make up Barrio’s Matter Trilogy.

From June until March 2025, the Winter Garden on the fourth floor of Salt Beyoglu will feature sound installations by Ozcan Ertek, Fulya Ucanok, Omer Sarigedik, Zeynep Hatipoglu and Passepartout Duo.

The program “Warm Earth Sounds for Plants and Plant Lovers,” part of L’Internationale’s Museum of the Commons project, takes its name from electronic music pioneer Mort Garson’s “Mother Earth’s Plantasia” album for plants.
