Israel employs starvation as a weapon in the conflict in Gaza

US Representative Joaquin Castrot criticized the Biden administration’s backing of Israel’s sentencing of the Gaza populace to hunger

US Representative Joaquin Castrot stated in a declaration on Sunday that the US is complicit in Israel’s transgressions. Castrot asserted that Israel has sentenced the people of Gaza to hunger and killed approximately 34,000 civilians.

Castrot reminded that the US sells arms to Israel, stating, “We all witnessed the Gaza catastrophe. We observed how the Netanyahu administration utilized US arms to kill indiscriminately and instigate famine.”

History will not pardon us

Castrot stressed that the US has approved new assistance to Israel, condemning Washington’s support for Tel Aviv. Castrot remarked, “Shamelessly, today we accepted an aid package to Israel so that new massacres can be carried out. History will not pardon us.”

Castrot emphasized that Israel condemned those who survived the bombardment in Gaza to starvation. Pointing out that civilians are dying of hunger, Castrot said the US is complicit in this crime.
