A significant development has emerged regarding Ferdi Kadioglu, whose name has been linked with Premier League clubs for some time. The Turkish international is reportedly close to an agreement with Brighton, with negotiations ongoing between the club and Fenerbahce.

According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, the English club Brighton has made progress in talks with Kadioglu and has agreed to the terms set by the player. Brighton is continuing discussions with Fenerbahce regarding the transfer.

The player’s representative has informed Fenerbahce of their decision, as Kadioglu is keen to continue his career in the Premier League. Brighton has offered 35 million euros, including bonuses, for Kadioglu. Fenerbahce, however, has requested an increase in the base fee, excluding the bonuses, in the latest offer from Brighton.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahce began preparations for their upcoming Super Lig match against Goztepe with a training session on Thursday. Kadioglu, who missed the match against Lille due to injury, trained individually.

Kadioglu has been with Fenerbahce since 2018, scoring 18 goals and providing 22 assists in 203 appearances for the club.
