Fenerbahce unable to contact Pedro
At the start of the season, Fenerbahce made headlines worldwide by hiring the globally renowned Jose Mourinho as their head coach. However, things are not going as planned for the Turkish club.
Following a 2-1 loss in the first leg, Fenerbahce’s most recent match resulted in a 1-1 draw in extra time against Lille, eliminating them from the Champions League. The team will continue its journey in the UEFA Europa League. In their Super Lig opener, Fenerbahce secured a 1-0 victory at home against Adana Demirspor.
Ignoring calls
Despite criticism over their results and performance, Fenerbahce’s biggest issue appears to be squad planning. Currently, the team is facing problems with Joao Pedro.
Fenerbahce is facing difficulties in negotiating with Pedro, who is reportedly demanding his full salary of 3 million euros and has been excluded from the team’s plans for the upcoming season by Mourinho. Murat Zorlu, a club member and YouTube channel owner, claims that the club has been unable to contact Pedro.
Recalling Cephas
A similar situation unfolded recently at Ankaragucu involving Jamaican player Renaldo Cephas. The club encountered difficulties in contacting Cephas, who subsequently missed training sessions and failed to appear for a match despite being included in the squad.
