German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrives in Gaziantep for a series of visits, greeted by local officials upon landing at Gaziantep Airport

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived in Gaziantep to conduct a series of visits.

The plane carrying Steinmeier and his delegation landed at Gaziantep Airport at 2:20 p.m. Turkish time.

At Gaziantep Airport, the German President was welcomed by Gaziantep Governor Kemal Ceber, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Sahin, 5th Armored Brigade Commander Brigadier General Erdin Kaya and other officials.

Steinmeier is scheduled to undertake a series of visits throughout the day.
