Turkish women’s volleyball national team loses to Brazil in bronze medal match at Paris 2024 Olympics with a 3-1 result in sets, ranking 4th in the Olympics. In the bronze medal match at the Paris 2024 Olympics, the Türkiye’s women’s volleyball national team was defeated by Brazil with a score of 3-1.

The Turkish national volleyball team, which had the chance to secure its first Olympic medal, struggled against Brazil’s strong performance and finished the Olympics without a medal.

Set results:

  • 1st Set: Türkiye 21-25 Brazil
  • 2nd Set: Türkiye 25-27 Brazil
  • 3rd Set: Türkiye 25-22 Brazil
  • 4th Set: Türkiye 15-25 Brazil

Opportunity lost

Despite having the opportunity to win their first Olympic medal, Türkiye could not overcome Brazil’s strong performance and ended the Games in fourth place.

The Turkish national volleyball team finished second in Group C with two wins and one loss, advanced to the quarter-finals, where they defeated China 3-2, but lost 3-0 to Italy in the semi-finals.
