Türkiye’s Ministry of Defense eliminates 12 PKK terrorists in Northern Iraq

Türkiye’s Ministry of Defense reported that 12 PKK terrorists identified in the Pence-Kilit Operation area in northern Iraq have been eliminated.

The statement from the ministry read:

We continue to strike at terror nests. Twelve PKK terrorists detected in the Pence-Kilit Operation area in northern Iraq have been eliminated. Our struggle will continue with resolve and determination.

PKK terrorist organization has killed thousands of Turkish citizens since its first attack in Siirt in 1981.

PKK terrorist group which has offshoots in Iraq and Syria, has been waging a terror campaign against Türkiye for more than 40 years. Listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the United States and the European Union, the group has been responsible for the death of some 40,000 people, including women and children.
