Cybercrime crackdown: 68 suspects arrested in Türkiye
Turkish authorities detained 68 individuals across 23 provinces as part of a coordinated operation to combat cybercrime, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on Friday.
The operation, codenamed “SIBERAG-3” targeted individuals with outstanding warrants for various cyber offenses.

Turkish Minister Yerlikaya revealed on social media that the Turkish General Directorate of Security’s Department of Cybercrime conducted the raids.
The suspects were apprehended for charges including “aggravated fraud,” “aggravated theft,” “online child abuse and harassment,” and violations of the law regulating “betting and gambling on football and other sports.”
“We will continue our relentless fight against crime and criminals in the Cyber Nation, just as we do in our homeland, 24/7,” Yerlikaya stated.
During the operations, 68 suspects with active arrest warrants were taken into custody.
