Greece leaves migrants to die as Türkiye rescues them
Turkish National Defense Ministry reported that irregular migrants left by Greece off the coast of Samos Island were rescued by the Turkish Coast Guard Command boat.
“During the reconnaissance and surveillance activity carried out on July 24, 2024 by the UAV of the Turkish Naval Forces Command, it was observed that the Greek Coast Guard boat left 1 boat carrying irregular migrants in the area to the north east of Samos Island, west of Kuşadası Women’s Sea location. The migrants who had a hard time in stormy weather were rescued by 1 Coast Guard boat that arrived in the area,” the National Defense Ministry said in a statement.
