Türkiye secures 26th spot in latest FIFA world rankings
Türkiye’s impressive performance in reaching the quarterfinals of the 2024 European Championship has propelled the national team from 42nd to 26th place in the July FIFA world rankings. This significant climb of 16 spots comes with an increase in points, with Türkiye now holding 1533.6 points.
The 2024 Copa America champion Argentina maintained its position at the top. Spain, which won the 2024 European Championship, climbed five places to rank third.
The next FIFA world rankings will be announced on Sept. 19.
