The migrants, including three children, were identified as having been pushed back into Turkish territorial waters by Greek authorities.

The 43 irregular migrants in the rubber boat were rescued by the assigned Coast Guard boat.

All 132 irregular migrants brought ashore were subjected to health checks and processing before being transferred to the Turkish Provincial Directorate of Migration Management’s Repatriation Center.
