Turkish forces eliminate 7 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, Syria

The Turkish Armed Forces eliminated four PKK/YPG terrorists in the Euphrates Shield region of northern Syria and three PKK terrorists in the Hakurk region of northern Iraq, the National Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces continue to fight with uninterrupted operations to destroy terrorism at its source. 4 PKK/YPG terrorists identified in the Euphrates Shield region in northern Syria and 3 PKK terrorists identified in the Hakurk region in northern Iraq were neutralized.

The terrorist organization PKK/YPG has killed thousands of people since its first attack in Siirt in 1984. The terrorist organization, which has a presence in Syria and northern Iraq, is used as a proxy actor by foreign states after proxy wars came to the fore in the Middle East following the Arab Spring.
