The Turkish Defense Ministry announced Monday the successful operation against 17 PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Iraq and Syria.
Operations in Northern Iraq
Turkish forces identified and killed 14 PKK terrorists in the Metina and Gara region.
Operations in Northern Syria
Three PKK/YPG terrorists were located and killed in the Peace Spring region, strengthening control and security in the area.
The Defense Ministry emphasized the continued efforts to ensure the safety and security of Türkiye’s borders and the regions affected by terrorist activities.
These operations are part of a broader strategy to dismantle terrorist networks and protect civilians from threats.
