The Trump campaign has pointed fingers squarely at President Joe Biden following the assassination attempt on Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Senator J.D. Vance, a potential vice-presidential candidate for Trump, accused Biden’s campaign rhetoric of inciting the violence, sparking a contentious debate amid heightened political tensions.

The Secret Service confirmed Trump is in good condition and that an investigation has been launched.

Trump reported feeling “okay” and stated that he had undergone a medical examination. He expressed disbelief, saying, “It’s hard to believe this could happen in our country.”

Senator J.D. Vance, considered a potential vice-presidential candidate for Trump, blamed the Biden campaign’s rhetoric for the incident.

Vance claimed the attempt was orchestrated by President Joe Biden and his team.

Other Republican politicians have echoed similar sentiments, likely to be condemned by their rivals as incendiary remarks during a highly volatile period in American politics.
