Derin Atakan, a national sailor from Türkiye, secured a bronze medal at the Under-21 World Championship held in Italy’s Gizzeria, Italy.
According to a statement from the Turkish Sailing Federation, the competition featured national athletes in Gizzeria town.
Representing the Fenerbahce Dogus Sailing Team, Derin Atakan clinched third place in the Formula Kite women’s category.
In the championship, Derin Deniz Sorguc finished 7th, Derin Cem Baba came in 24th, and Poyraz Aksakal secured the 25th position.
